Project HOPE (hands open to people everywhere) is a local grassroots initiative that fosters sustainable community development through education, cultural exchange, and youth activism. It is managed by the Ceiba Association through a partnership with MacEwan University. We believe in collaboration, solidarity, and utilizing the community model of development.

Almost there!!!

The 2012/2013 Project HOPE Team Has been working hard and we're so close!

Our amazing team of 9 Grant MacEwan students have been working like crazy over the last several months to fundraise for the trip! We've had brew tours, concerts, delicious benefits dinners, and funny times! We've just about met our fundraising goal and the trip is just around the corner! In less than two weeks, this band of brilliant students will head down to San Andres, Nicaragua to carry out this year's project! They will be working to serve the Project HOPE mandate of bridging the socio-economic gap between peoples and increasing education and literacy across the globe.

This team is committed and ready to bring in the last few dollars needed to have everything completed by the time they return home! Because we are so close to the deadline, we have had to transfer all money from online donations down to Centro Humbolt, our local partner organization. Therefore, our online donations are now closed. If you wish to donate, please contact us! Visit the Contact Us page for more!

We still have a few fundraisers before we leave! Check out the Fundraisers page for more details!

You can follow our progress and keep up-to-date on events and fundraisers through our website and our Facebook page!
